Welcome to Dead Swanky. Please take a moment to read our Terms & Conditions. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms, which are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and the best possible experience for all clients.
Appointments & Bookings
All appointments are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Certain services, particularly colour and longer appointments, require additional preparation time and therefore a booking deposit.
Appointments are only confirmed once any required deposit has been received.
Booking Deposits
A 25–50% booking deposit is required to secure selected appointments.
Deposits are deducted from the final bill on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows, as outlined below.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations with 48 hours’ notice or more: deposit refunded or transferred to a future appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: deposit retained as a cancellation fee.
No-shows or same-day cancellations: the full cost of the booked service may be charged.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full payment in advance for future bookings.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may result in:
- A shortened service
- The need to reschedule
- Loss of deposit
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to carry out your appointment in full.
Patch Test / Skin Test Policy
Patch tests are required for all colour services in accordance with industry standards.
A patch test is mandatory if:
- You are a new client
- You have not had colour with us in the last 6 months
- There has been a change in colour formula
- You have experienced a reaction previously
- You have used home or box dyes since your last visit
Patch tests must be completed at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.
If a required patch test has not been completed, we will be unable to carry out the colour service, and cancellation terms may apply.

Consultations & Results
All services begin with a professional consultation. While we strive to achieve the agreed result, outcomes may vary depending on hair history, condition, and previous treatments.
We cannot guarantee specific results if hair has been previously treated with home dyes, chemical treatments, or if inaccurate information is provided during consultation.
Pricing
All prices are indicative and may vary depending on hair length, thickness, condition, and the time required. Final pricing will be confirmed during consultation.
Refunds & Complaints
We do not offer refunds on completed services.
If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days so we can offer an adjustment where appropriate.
No adjustments or refunds will be offered for services carried out by another salon.
Personal Belongings
Dead Swanky cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon.
Health & Medical Information
Clients must inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or medications that may affect their service. Dead Swanky cannot be held liable for reactions where this information has not been disclosed.
Children & Age Policy
Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Clients under the age of 16 are not permitted, in accordance with UK legal regulations, to receive any colour or chemical treatments.
We reserve the right to refuse services for children if we believe it may compromise their safety or comfort.
Children’s appointments may be subject to shorter duration and adjusted pricing depending on service.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if we believe it may compromise the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of the client or our team.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Dead Swanky reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
